San Fratellano horses in their native habitat on Mount Soro, Nebrodi National Park, North West Sicily.

These baroque black horses, are bred and reared semi-wild and are extremely tough and resilient, living on very little food in harsh conditions. Originally bred by crossing Arab with Maremmano and Nonius, they are normally bay, dark bay and black in colour with virtually no white markings.
