The Oldenburg is a warmblood horse from the north-western corner of Lower Saxony, what was formerly the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg. Oldenburg Horses have been very successful in the sport of show jumping and in dressage. Famous Oldenburg Horses include 2006 World Cup show jumping champion Sandro Boy as well as Arko III An Olympic level show jumping horse ridden by Nick Skelton
